The Man of Integrity

He is a man who inherited all inner quality we envy for. Honesty, integrity, intellectual by own right and soft spoken yet he was ridicule by of his own man those known as over the top politico and humiliated by most of  illiterate opposition as good as a chai-walla too and betrayed by his own man. Now, time will tell actually whodunit  for India and I will be wait for it. He also can be call as father of economy reform and globalization. At the end of his ten year tenure he himself know more than anybody that what he intended to do he could not because due to presence of unfaithful and corrupt element in his government. I feel sad because it was so dirty over there that a respected man like him always was misfit to the dirty tricks played around. He,  himself maintains that history will judge him - and his government - far better than his peers or the contemporary. He continues to maintain, quite contrary to popular perception of 'policy paralysis, that "no other decade has recorded as much development as there has been in the last 10 years" of the UPA under his prime ministership. A little from the life of Mr. Manmohan Singh what I bound to put together.

Early Life

Singh was born to Gurmukh Singh and Amrit Kaur on 26 September 1932, in Gah, Punjab (Pakistan).  He lost his mother when he was very young and was raised by his paternal grandmother, to whom he was very close.

Education

After the Partition of India, his family migrated to Amritsar, India, where he studied at Hindu College. He attended Panjab University, Chandigarh. studying Economics and got his bachelor's and master's degrees in 1952 and 1954, respectively, standing first throughout his academic career. He completed his Economics Tripos at University of Cambridge as he was a member of St John's College in 1957.

Family

Singh married Gursharan Kaur in 1958. They have three daughters, Upinder Singh, Daman Singh and Amrit Singh. Upinder Singh is a professor of history at Delhi University. She has written six books, including Ancient Delhi (1999) and A History of Ancient and Early Medieval India. Daman Singh is a graduate of St. Stephen's College, Delhi and Institute of Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat, and author of The Last Frontier: People and Forests in Mizoram and a novel Nine by Nine, she is married to an I.P.S official Ashok Patnaik who is on deputation to Intelligence Bureau. Amrit Singh is a staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union.

Finance

n June 1991, India's Prime Minister at the time, P.V. Narasimha Rao, chose Singh to be his Finance Minister. Singh told Mark Tully the British journalist in 2005 “Rao sent his Principal Secretary to me saying, `The PM would like you to become the Minister of Finance’. I didn’t take it seriously. He eventually tracked me down the next morning, rather angry, and demanded that I get dressed up and come to Rashtrapati Bhavan for the swearing in. So that’s how I started in politics”

Prime Minister

After the 2004 general elections, the Indian National Congress becoming the political party with the single largest number of seats in the Lok Sabha. Chairperson Sonia Gandhi declared Manmohan Singh, as the UPA candidate for the Prime Ministership. In 2009, Congress led UPA returned to power and Manmohan Singh was sworn in as the Prime Minister fro second term.

Perhaps, if Manmohan Singh were better advised, especially in his second term, Manmohan may still have been the star brand on whose work the Congress rode to victory in 2009.

Conspiracy Theories – III [ India ]

There is no second opinion about that India is one of the most controversial country. With billion plus population and majorities are Hindus, the religion that based on the multi caste system. Since mid-seventies, the political system of India is rotting because involvement of score of illiterate and corrupt politician and most of those has linked to the under-world goons. However, there are a couple of controversies that still lurching in the dark and one of that is definitely about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose not dying in a plane crash and him being still alive. Lal Bahadur Shastri's death in Russia also very

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

The intriguing death of an Indian holy man in 1985 suggested that he was none other than Subhas Chandra Bose, the revolutionary and nationalist who, it is officially claimed, died in an air crash in 1945. The truth, however, is harder to find, as Hugh Purcell discovers.

Bose was reported killed in an air crash in August 1945, while trying to escape to the Soviet Union, many believed then and continue to believe now that, helped by his Japanese allies, he faked his death, reached Russia and returned to India many years later to lead the secret life of a hermit.

The question was “How, when and where Subhash Chandra Bose died?” The internal Security Section of Home ministry gave the answer as below:

Till now the Government of India has formed three committees to do inquiry about the reason behind Netaji’s death.

1. In 1956, Shahnawaz Committee.
2. In 1970, Khosala Committee.
3. In1999, Mukharjee Committee.

Shahnawaz committee came to the conclusion that on 18th August 1945 Netaji was expired in a plane crash near Tiahoku. Netaji’s ashes are kept in a temple in Renkoji near Tokyo. Khosala committee also came to the same conclusion that Netaji died in a plane crash near Taihoku. But Mukharjee committee concluded something different. The committee accepted that Netaji is now no more, but the cause was different. It was not the plane crash and the ashes which have been kept in Renkoji temple near Tokyo are not of Netaji’s. The Government of India accepted the conclusion derived by Shahnawaz committee and Khosala Committee completely, but did not agreed 100% upon the conclusion derived by Mukharjee Committee.

Lal Bahadur Shastri's
Lal Bahadur Shastri’s untimely demise on account of a heart attack in 1966 in Tashkent was shocking. The strange circumstances of this tragic death, which happened only a few hours after signing the Tashkent Declaration, remain the subject of heated debate, even today, nearly half a century later.

In 2009, Indian journalist Anuj Dhar, known for his investigation of the death of Subhas Chandra Bose, made an unusual request to the Prime Minister of India. Using the country’s new Right to Information Act, he sought the publication of classified information relating to the death of Shastri.  Although the request was turned down, the wording of the refusal, which cited raised issues of India’s foreign relations, makes one pause. It is no wonder that such statements cause people to discuss various versions of Shastri's death that are very different from the official one.

On the evening of January 10, 1966 in Tashkent, Shastri and Pakistani President Muhammad Ayub Khan, with the participation of Alexei Kosygin, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR had signed a peace declaration that ended the Indo-Pakistan war. The bloody confrontation in Kashmir and neighbouring regions, claiming the lives of nearly 7,000 people, came to an end thanks to reasonable compromise by both leaders and the skilful mediation of the Soviet Union. According to diplomatic traditions, when negotiations come to a successful conclusion, a formal banquet is held. No disaster seemed imminent. And then at night Shastri, who had just a few hours ago achieved peace for his country, died suddenly.

The KGB was called in immediately and they placed the head waiters who had served the distinguished guests at the banquet under temporary arrest on suspicion of poisoning the Prime Minister of India.  However, the doctor who accompanied the Prime Minister on his trip and the Soviet doctors, having examined the body, came to the conclusion that he died of a heart attack, which was already his fourth. The waiters were released, and the suspicion of the poisoning was said to be groundless.

However, not everyone believed this. Lalita Shastri, the wife of Shastri, pointing to strange bluish marks on his body and claiming that he never had any heart problems in the past, said that her husband was indeed poisoned.

Decades gone, both the mysteries related to the most loved leaders are unanswered and it seems it will remain as it was.

Conspiracy Theories – II

Some of the following conspiracy theories are still alive and kicking but some are very funny, specially ‘Paul is Dead’.

Paul Is Dead

conspiracy-minded Beatlemaniacs say, Paul McCartney secretly died in 1966. Theorists claim the other Beatles covered up his death — hiring someone who looked like him, sang like him, and had the same jovial personality.

Holocaust Revisionism

Despite overwhelming evidence and an admission and apology from Germany decades ago, revisionists continue to claim that nearly 6 million Jews were not killed by Nazis during the Holocaust. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for one, has called the Holocaust a "myth" and suggested that Germany and other European countries, rather than Palestine, provide land for a Jewish state.

Adolf Hitler Fakes Death

The official history of Adolf Hitler is that he committed suicide on April 30, 1945, however, there are a number of people who don't believe this and think that he faked his death. It is believed that Hitler had a stand-in and that this stand-in was the one that was found death in the bunker in Germany.

Area 51

Area 51 is a base located in southern Nevada that is tied to many UFO sightings. The base is believed to be a location that was formerly used by the United States Government to research and reverse engineer extraterrestrial spacecraft technology. It is also believed that there may have also been aliens from another planet there as well. The base is monitored 24/7 by vehicles and signs are posted miles away from the facility saying it is a restricted area and that photography is prohibited.

CIA Drug Trafficking

The CIA has a long history of drug trafficking. Case after case show that the CIA it not so much interested in stopping the illegal drug trade, but actually finding a way to use this drug trade to their advantage, both financially and otherwise. In exchange for information on rival drug cartels the CIA has been known to grant immunity to import large quantities of drugs across borders into the United States.

Abraham Lincoln Assassination

The assassination of Abraham Lincoln has many different conspiracy theories revolving around it. The main assassination by John Wilkes Booth is generally agreed upon by most camps, however, whether Booth operated alone or whether he was used by a group of individuals is up for debate.

Jesus Married To Mary Magdeline

There is a growing conspiracy, greatly heightened by the book, "Holy Blood Holy Grail", and then brought into mainstream attention with the movie the Da Vinci Code. Many believe that Jesus was actually married to Mary Magdeline and then his bloodline was brought over to France where the descendents went on to become the Merovingians.

Princess Diana Murdered by British Royal Family

The official story is that Princess Diana was killed in an auto accident on August 31, 1997. However, many people, including her partner's father, Mohammed Al-Fayed, believed that her death was actually a planned murder carried out by Prince Philip, Prince Charles and MI6.

Conspiracy Theories – I

While scanning through some websites got some of the world most fascination conspiracy made by the government or by the secret agencies

9/11 was Planned by the US Government

Many conspiracy theories have been presented concerning the September 11, 2001 attacks, many of them claiming that President George W. Bush and/or individuals in his administration knew about the attacks beforehand and purposefully allowed them to occur because the attacks would generate public support for militarization, expansion of the police state, and other intrusive foreign and domestic policies by which they would benefit.

A flying saucer crashed at Roswell in 1947

The Roswell UFO Incident involved the recovery of materials near Roswell, New Mexico, USA, in July 1947, which have since become the subject of intense speculation, rumor, questioning and research. There are widely divergent views on what actually happened, and passionate debate about what evidence can be believed. The United States military maintains that what was recovered was a top-secret research balloon that had crashed.

John F. Kennedy’s Assassination

The 35th President of the United States was shot on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas at 12.30pm . He was fatally wounded by gunshots while riding with his wife - Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy - in a motorcade. The ten-month investigation of the Warren Commission of 1963 to 1964, the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) of 1976 to 1979, and other government investigations concluded that the President had been assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald - who was himself shot dead by Jack Ruby while in police custody

Apollo Moon Landing Hoax

Apollo Moon Landing hoax accusations are claims that some or all elements of the Apollo Moon landings were faked by NASA and possibly members of other involved organizations. Some groups and individuals have advanced alternate historical narratives which tend, to varying degrees, to state that the Apollo Astronauts did not land on the moon, and that NASA created and continues to perpetuate this hoax.

HIV Was Invented to Get Rid of Black People

The idea that HIV was invented by humans deliberately, to get rid of black people and homosexuals, is widely regarded as a conspiracy theory. While there are a number of theories which claim to explain the genesis of HIV there is only one theory which is scientifically credible.

HIV disproportionately affects black people and one of the first groups to present with HIV in the United States was gay men. This is where the theory that HIV was engineered to rid society of black people and gay people probably came from. However the reasons why black people are more likely to be infected with HIV and why gay men were the first to present with HIV are largely due to biomedical, social, political and material factors, not because they were purposely targeted for elimination.

Hitting the Bull’s Eye!!

It is very heartening to see the success of so-called small town girls and boys. I born in a metropolitan city but brought up in a small town like Jammy. With loads off desire we hardly had any facilities in our epoch but it is true that if you are determine to ascend then every obstacle turned to a cakewalk. The hard work and achievement of Deepika Kumari fit the bill on that context.

Deepika Kumari

Deepika Kumari was born to Shivnarayan Mahato, an auto-rickshaw driver and Geeta Mahato, a nurse in Ranchi Medical College. In the early days it was rather difficult for the parents to financially support Deepika's dream, often compromising on the family budget to buy her new equipment for her training. But the young gutsy archer never gave up and started her practice with bamboo made bows and arrows. Finally it was Deepika's cousin Vidya Kumari, also an archer at Tata Archery Academy, who showed her the way.

Deepika got her first breakthrough in 2005 when she entered Arjun Archery Academy, an institute set up by Meera Munda, wife of Chief Minister Arjun Munda at Kharsawan. But her professional archery journey begun in the year 2006 when she joined the Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur. It was here that she started her training with proper equipment and uniform. She also received Rs 500 as stipend.

Deepika become the second Indian to win the title after Palton Hansda won the World champion at Mexico in 2006 by winning the junior compound individual gold medal.

In May 2012, Deepika Kumari won her first World Cup individual recurve gold medal at Antalya, Turkey. She beat Korea's Lee Sung Jin by six set points to four in the final. Later in the year 2012 she became world no.1 in the Women's Recurve Archery.

Having lost her third title clash in just concluded World cup and it was as many years at the World Cup Finals, archer Deepika Kumari has been forced to look for reasons within. And the 19-year-old admitted that she lost the latest battle in Paris more in the mind than anything else.

“Archery is a mind game. It is all about how strong you are mentally. In major competitions, being tough makes a big difference. It would be great if we could have a sports psychologist with us,” she said at a felicitation function here on Tuesday.
